These figures reflect the eastern beach islands of Sal, Boa Vista and Maio, which are hottest and driest. The green, mountainous islands — Santo Antão, Fogo, São Nicolau and Brava — are a few degrees cooler and can be cloudier and wetter, especially at altitude.
